Description
This course will continue to build upon the work from THR 210 Acting 1, as actors will go continue to progress through the Sanford Meisner repetition exercises. The first part of the course will focus on performing contemporary plays. This course will also introduce the concepts how to use punctuation, alliteration, assonance, sentence structure, and emotion as a guide to truthfully performing the works of William Shakespeare. Coursework will culminate in a public performance. Outside reading, writing, and rehearsing will be required. Prereq: THR 210.
