Description

This course emphasizes life span programming and management skills for recreational and physical fitness facilities as well as community programs. Topics include programming principles, program selection and development, league and tournament scheduling, finance and marketing, risk and human resource management, and evaluation of goal-oriented activities. Students learn through case studies, research, and examples of theory-to-practice applications. Prerequisite(s): SPM 150, BUS 201 and Sophomore standing.
