Description
Students have the opportunity to apply skills and knowledge gained in POL275 Trial Advocacy I and POL276 Trial Advocacy II, as well learn advanced techniques and knowledge, as it pertains to the American adversarial system of law. This will be accomplished via participation in a weekly 80 minute practicum, participation at one invitational mock trial competition, and participation in the annual spring national intercollegiate mock trial tournament sponsored by the America Mock Trial Association (AMTA). Reliance on the annual AMTA mock trial hypothetical civil or criminal case facts will be used for weekly instructional material and competitions. Prereq: POL 275 and POL 276
