Description

This course is designed as the first of two offerings intended to introduce students to the American adversarial system of law. Students will learn how to develop a theory of a case, direct examination of witnesses, cross-examine of witnesses, how to present and enter evidence into the court record, and how to make and defend legal objections via a preliminary review of the Federal Rules of Evidence.
