Description
Nursing theory focusing on the health care needs of women throughout the lifespan as well as the needs of neonates throughout the neonatal period. Analysis of current evidence-based practice standards for the care of women during the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods. Emphasis on health promotion, disease prevention, and risk reduction for women and neonates with the application of health assessment, pathophysiology and pharmacology. Prereq: NUR 410, NUR 418, NUR 355, NUR 357.
