Description
The unique health care needs of the childbearing years. Nursing interventions which support and promote health and well-being are emphasized in women and families in various states of health and development. Physiologic and psychosocial changes that occur in women from adolescence through adulthood, and health promotion of the developing family are emphasized. Explore the role of the nurse in relation to current research and issues in childbearing. Clinical practice experiences are facilitated in traditional and non-traditional care settings. Prereq: Admission to Nursing program and NUR 321 and 322.
