Description

Nursing theory focusing on the health care needs of the adult patient in complex care situations. Analysis of current evidence-based practice standards for the care of adults with an integration of health assessment, pathophysiology, pharmacology and the development of safe, patient-centered nursing interventions for acute and chronic health disorders. Emphasis on health promotion, disease prevention, and risk reduction for adults. Prereq: NUR 345, NUR 355, NUR 357 and concurrent enrollment in NUR 418.
