Description

Exploration of the principles of evidence-based practice as the foundation of high quality, patient-centered care. Application of evidence-based principles and basic scientific research methods within the context of a team to address a specific issue in nursing practice. Examination of quality data and identification of quality improvement opportunities in healthcare. Discussion of statistical analysis and principles of ethics while critiquing various types of research for application to practice. Prereq: MAT 117, NUR 335, NUR 337, NUR 375, NUR 377.
