Description
Development of technical skills and abilities in assessing the physical, spiritual and educational needs of diverse patient populations within the context of current evidence based practice standards. Utilization of informatics and technology for data management and documentation in clinical practice. Demonstration of compassionate and patient centered communication while independently performing a comprehensive health history and physical assessment. 3 hrs. lab.
Prerequisite(s): BIO 225, NTS 240, BIO 342, NUR 200, NUR 230, concurrent enrollment in NUR 305
