Description
This course emphasizes the development of the theory, method, and analytical techniques of financial management. Students learn the techniques of capital budgeting, valuation of projects and firms, theory of capital structure, dividend policy, cost of capital, and mergers and acquisitions. This is accomplished through lectures, class discussions, problem solving, and project work in Excel. Prerequisite(s): FIN 220
