Description

An examination of the objectives and methods of teaching mathematics including curriculum materials, lesson preparation, and assessment. Students practice using instructional materials, evaluation strategies, and lesson planning to enhance mathematical knowledge of construction and learning. Content and pedagogy include topics such as numbers and operations, number sense, algebraic thinking, geometry and measurement, data analysis and probability. Field work included: students concurrently enroll in EDU 392. Prerequisite(s): EDU 201
