Description
This course develops an understanding of and appreciation for theatre through introduction to the various components, expressions, and collaborations that go into creating theatrical performances. Additional content includes the examination of topics including genre, style, structure, purpose, cultural context, theatre criticism, and highlights in theatre history. Focus will be on students fulfilling the role of an in-class theatre collaborator. Attendance of on- and off-campus performances will be required, with ticket cost(s) assumed by the student.
