Description
This course provides students an understanding of legal and ethical issues within the sports industry with an emphasis on terminology and principles applied to sport management. Through various case studies students examine the manner in which litigation, regulations, legislation, and governance impact the sports industry and develop an understanding of the importance of limiting liability thru risk management. Prerequisite(s): SPM 150 and either SPM 200 or SPM 225
