Description

Explores the major issues and trends facing the nursing profession in the context of opportunities for the profession. In depth exploration of the historical, philosophical, and social development of professional nursing. and strategies for nursing to increase its value to society and improve its public image. Legal and ethical principles that guide professional nursing practice. Examination of political forces that infiuence change in contemporary health care. Prereq: Admission to Nursing program and NUR 321 and 322.
