Description

Observational clinical experience in a country outside of the United States with the purpose of application of evidence-based practice and the examination of the professional nurse’s role at a microsystem and macrosystem level. Immersion in the culture with an in-depth exploration of the current health issues specific to the population and culture visited utilizing a patient-centered care approach. Prereq: BIO 255, NUR 305, NUR 315, NUR 317, and enrollment in NUR 345.
