Description
Classroom experiences intended to develop students’ abilities in assessing the physical, spiritual, and educational needs in diverse care settings within the context of current evidence based practice standards. Emphasis on compassionate care, safety, and interdisciplinary teamwork/ collaboration and communication. Development of an aptitude for assessment of the uniqueness and diversity of patients. Utilization of clinical judgment and critical thinking skills while applying components of the nursing process.
Prerequisite(s): BIO 225, NTS 240, BIO 342, NUR 200, NUR 230, concurrent enrollment in NUR 307
