Description

A practical experience of 20 hours in an elementary classroom emphasizing developmental reading: observation of teachers, assistance with struggling and advanced readers, instruction of a phonics-based lesson, and administration of a miscue-analysis reading assessment. The experience includes at least one observed lesson that is evaluated by the college supervisor and cooperating teacher. Taken concurrently with EDU 333
