Description

A study of the nature and process of reading, instructional procedures for developing reading skills (phonological awareness, phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary/spelling and comprehension). This course also has a focus on reading intervention models, speech, language and writing development. Field work required: Students concurrently enroll in EDU 396. Prerequisite(s): admission to School of Education or consent of the Director
