Description
This course emphasizes a workshop approach for students to sharpen their academic writing and research skills. Students critique their own writing and that of others as a means to develop thoughtful commentary and revision. Specifically, this course offers rigorous focus on developing academic prose style in essays and a longer piece of writing in which students develop an academic argument. Presentations highlight how to construct and engage in researched argument, review grammar, revise work, and participate in peer reviews.
